The Seven Heavenly Virtues
For this project we were instructed to create a twenty page tabloid print that represented the Seven Heavenly Virtues using a variety of design methods and techniques. The finished tabloid includes seven unique compositions each representing one of the seven virtues. Click this link to see my design process and inspiration for this project.
The cover of the tabloid represents virtue and purity with an image of a bright, snowy landscape.
A collage of images from magazines and prints was used to represent chastity. I chose items that typically represent purity and arranged them to resemble a bride's bouquet.
Diligence is shown in this duotone image with someone working hard on math problems and papers. Her hand is motion blurred to show fast movement to further represent diligence and hard work.
An image showing an act of kindness is accompanied by handwriting. This composition is meant to show that no matter the circumstances, one should always be kind.
